(U.S.) orders only
for an additional charge of $2.35. Please indicate by email or note

your order ("Special Instructions") if you would like to add Signature
Confirmation Service to your order. (Please note, we can not reflect
this charge on your online web order, but it will be indicated on the
paid invoice that accompanies your shipment.)
Shipping
Confirmation Orders placed
online, on our web site (only!) will receive an automated
shipping confirmation email with tracking information when the order is
despatched. This service
is not available for orders placed by mail, by phone, or by any means
other than via our web site. Talisman Coins is a high volume, direct
wholesaler, so it is not necessary to call or email us to ask us when
your order will be shipped. This is even more relevant for orders
containing just announced, recently released, or delayed items.
Delivery
Time Once your order
ships it is out of our hands. We do not run the postal
and freight services, so there is nothing we can do to expedite
delivery. This may seem obvious to most (we think it is), but we
constantly get asked to "make my package show up faster". If we knew
how to do that, we would be in a different line of work! So, please
understand the futility in asking us where your order is or how we can
make it get to you
faster - we don't know, and we can't, respectively.
For international
orders, please keep in mind that customs agencies
reserve the right hold incoming parcels for inspection, sometimes for
quite some time. Again, expediting customs clearance is beyond our
control.
Secure
Delivery By making a
purchase from Talisman Coins, whether by means of this web
site or by any other means, you agree that you understand the valuable
nature of precious metals and numismatic items and have a secure
delivery location. It is not the responsibility of Talisman Coins to
verify or otherwise ensure that its customers possess a secure delivery
location. You agree that once the postal service, courier, customs
office or other third party delivery or handling agency certifies or
otherwise claims that an item is delivered, it is for
all intents
and purposes delivered and is no longer covered by any insurance.
International
Shipping All international
orders (orders sent outside the United States of
America) are uninsured and are shipped at buyer's risk. Insurance may
be available for an additional charge and will depend upon the value of
the order, location, etc. Please inquire by email or note with your
order ("Special Instructions") if you would like your
international order insured.
Why don't we
include insurance in the cost of international delivery?
1) Insurance is available only to some (not all) countries to
which we ship.
2) Not all of our
international customers want to insure their packages.
3) Not making insurance mandatory helps
lower international shipping charges.
International
Delivery Time It is impossible
to predict how long a package will take to reach an
international customer - we do not deliver the orders personally, nor
do we run the postal and freight services. Delivery time depends upon
many variables, including the country to which a parcel is sent, how
attentive customs and other inspections are, how much
bureaucratic
red tape must be cut, etc., etc.
You
control the service chosen. Standard service does not include tracking
and is not fast;
delivery times of 4 to 8 weeks are not unusual or uncommon. Priority
service is usually faster - perhaps 1 to 3 weeks. Please understand,
these are just rough
estimates, not promises or guarantees. Again, we do not operate the
delivery services.
Why do we offer a
Priority service with no tracking? We don't offer
this service - the United States Postal Service does. For parcels of
lower value and/or lighter weight, one less-expensive type of Priority
service does not include tracking. For international orders valued at
or above $400, the USPS regulations mandate International Priority Mail
service - other, less expensive services are not options. Please
understand, this is their rule, not ours.
