According to tradition, people born during a Year of the Rabbit (1915,
1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, and 2011) are said to exhibit
that animal’s attributes. They are sociable, amiable, and
artistic, and are often shy, soft-spoken and cautious. They are often
noted for their elegance and good taste. Rabbits can be moody,
superficial and self-centered, as well. The
ANDA (Australian Numismatic Dealers Association) held its first show of
2011 in Perth in February. To celebrate this numismatic gathering in
the Mint's home town, the Perth Mint and Talisman Coins are proud to
offer this unique and truly rare, pure silver rabbit coin, with a total of only 1,000 show special editions being issued!
This coin combines a highly popular animal motif with an aesthetically
